iVia
All the software hosted on this site is Free Software distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License or the GNU Lesser General Public License. It is designed to run on the free Debian GNU/Linux operating system and employs a range of other Free Software. It has been specifically tested on Debian (Etch,Sid), RedHat (Fedora Core 4/5/6), and SuSE 9.3 - 10.2. We do our best to answer questions regarding the Linux distributions listed above and we will as time permits attempt to help with other distributions. All the projects are implemented in C++. The software has been tested and compiled on Intel 32 bit (x86_32) and AMD 64 bit (x86_64) platforms. Please note that libiViaMetadata and Data Fountains require AMD 64 bit for complete functionality.
